Apparently you are not trying hard enough.

Have you tried creating a QCF or a JMS Queue pointer.

When using JMS to connect to an MQManager I have heard that it helps assuming the WMQ objects you are pointing to actually exist on the WMQManager in question.

Try that an see if it helps.........

And also catch the linked exception. You can find code on this site by searching. The linked exception will give you the underlying WMQ error.

It's kind of hard to change the WebSphere code to catch the linked exception..

Especially since it already does, and probably reported the proper Reason Code and Completion code in a different section of the error message, that sanedevil chose not to report.

Definitely hard to catch...I figured that this was his own code that was throwing the error based on:
Code:
[6/21/05 14:37:40:565 IST] 6dae5313 SystemOut O Creating qcf
[6/21/05 14:37:40:575 IST] 6dae5313 SystemOut O Creating conn

I figured he was trying to create his qcf/connection and was printing out his status.
