You should not do this, likely.

The only design pattern in which it is valid to selectively GET messages from queues based on any criteria is a request/reply pattern.

ANY other pattern is treating a queue like a database - which is an ANTI-PATTERN - both in MQ and in JMS.

But hey, your design and performance flaws are yours to live with, not mine.
