I am trying to process an MQ event message through JMS (using a message driven bean).

The message I receive is of type BytesMessage, but I need a PCF message in order to establish the event type (I have tried converting the message to an MQMessage, and then using this to create a PCFMessage - but am getting an EOFException).

Does anyone have any idea whether this can be done, and how to do it?

Thanks

How are you converting this? Are you trying to cast it? Or copy the bytes?

I am converting it by copying the bytes.

I did try casting it, but got a class cast exception.
