on windows (xp) wbimb 5.0 broker and oracle 92 client with odbc ora92 driver.

on solaris user and neon databases - oracle

Currently just NEON design time installed on windows.

My flows work accessing user oracle databases remotely through ora92client and odbc but I'm not sure what to configure to get to neon rules and formats database's remotely i.e want to run flows with NEON nodes. I do NOT want to import nnrfie into a new DB2 database on windows system.

Assuming this is feasible what do I need to configure at the windows broker end ?

Ok don't all rush.

Before I go into more installs / fixpacks etc this is what I reckon might work :

-instal neon runtime on windows where broker is

-copy nnsyreg.dat from solaris to windows system and set envar NN_CONFIG_FILE_PATH to the location of this file

-add entry for neon database in odbc selecting ora9 driver for dsn as specified in nnsyreg.dat

-restart broker on windows and then try out a flow with NEON nodes

Hey everybody got NEON/MQSI flow working.

Procedure below on previous mail almost worked first time.

Messages appeared on FAIL queue until I changed the NNOT_SHARED_LIBRARY entries in the nnsyreg.dat from those used on Solaris, to the one needed for windows, as indicated by the sample in the nnsy examples directory.

Also defined NNSY_ROOT envar.

Another tick in the project progress column.
