My Sender channel will not start.
The error it spits out is as follows:
"The MQOPEN call failed. The queue manager issued an MQOPEN call to open a WebSphere MQ Object. The call failed. Check the queue manager's error log for more information about the error (AMQ4063)."
My error logs reads as follows:
"04/20/05 16:23:53
AMQ9509: Program cannot open queue manager object.
EXPLANATION:
The attempt to open either the queue or queue manager object 'XXYY' on queue manager 'XXXXXXXX' failed with reason code 2042.
ACTION:
Ensure that the queue is available and retry the operation."
But there is no program that has my transmission queue open.
HELP HELP HELP. This is happening in production and I need to resolve this right away as my transmission queue is stacking up with messages that needs to be processed. |

The transmission queue is opened in exclusive mode by the channel.
You cannot browse it and have the channel running !! Live with it!

QueenBee, next time it happens, do a QSTATUS on the XMITQ. It will tell you who has it open. _________________ Peter Potkay

I thought he said he was running "MQ Version: 5.2.0.6". If this is the case he will not be able to do a "dis qstatus". _________________ Yes, I am an agent of Satan but my duties are largely ceremonial. |
