I am looking for a simple user exit BEFORE MQCONN to be able to check what IP address the request came from. I want to limit MQCONN requests to a list of IP addresses. Is this possible, if so, how?

Hi,
There is a IBM SupportPac called ME71 that will limit the number of connections. You will need to compile it for the platform that you want to use it on. Plus there is no support for it.
On the other hand, Capitalware has released 2 new security solutions that have the feature of limiting the incoming connections. They come built and fully support for Unix, Linux and Windows (z/OS & zLinux in the future).
