Hello Forum
is there an option to recreate WF Windows Service after it was deleted by mistake? I remember I saw in the past an fmczchk option to do that, but I'm not finding it.

Thanks
Joao Ramires

I agree, I have never heard of such a tool.

What I can suggest is the following:

Delete the current configuration BUT NOT the Database or the Queues. Create the configuration again using the existing queues and RTDB.

Searching and searching, I don't understand why this isn't in the manuals

In .\bin\fmczhk.htm there is the solution. I did not try it, because I did what John suggested. But with "scm" option the windows service can be created!

Joao

scm:[u[=uid][,p=pwd]][,a][,i=db2inst]
Updates the Windows NT Service Control Manager database with the startup dependencies that are required for the WebSphere MQ Workflow service. It also creates or updates the MQSeries Workflow service in the SCM database according to the options you specified. In MQSeries Workflow Version 3.2.0 and subsequent release levels, each configuration uses its own MQSeries Workflow service. If you want to create or update the service for another than the current configuration, you have to use the -y option to specify the configuration you want to use.
