Hi all,

i want to migrate from MQI 2.0.2 to MB 5.0
but i found the following statemnt from one red book

" We do not deal with the issue of a migration from WebSphere MQ Integrator
versions older than V2.1 to version 5 because this is not officially supported and
probably requires an interim upgrade to version 2.1 before continuing to
version 5. "

so is there any support pack like things
to migrate from MQI 2.0.2 to MB 5

It says it's not officially supported. I highly doubt there is a support pack. You might be able to find one for moving from 2.0 to 2.1.

Upgrade to 2.1, and then upgrade to 5.0.

Or, you know, just rewrite things in 5.0 from scratch.

And reconsider the upgrade policy that left you at 2.0 when 5.0 came out.

Taken from the What's New in V5 pitch given at various conferences:

"Out-of-the-box migration is supported from WMQI 2.1 only. If you are using MQSI 2.0.1 or 2.0.2 then you need to contact IBM Software Services for WebSphere who are able to assist MQSI 2.0.x customers in migrating to WBI Brokers V5. They can also assist with migration from WMQI 2.1. Contact details may be found here: http://www7b.software.ibm.com/wsdd/services/contacts.html"
