Below is the event viewer message that comes out every time the app tries to send an MQ message from their app server. Any ideas? No FDCs, no errors in the System MQ error logs, or in the QM error logs.

Plain MQAPI connections work just fine.

The same scenario in the DEV environment works fine, but DEV is not participating in a MS Hardware cluster.

Windows 2003
Microsoft Hardware Cluster
MQ 5.3 CSD08
The MSDTC resource is in MSCS and online.

OK, The Microsoft BizTalk Agent assumes the following is set, but does not document it. So I added this into my own little doc on how to install the MS MQSAgent for BizTalk.

The Intel Server team must that insure that the server’s security settings allow MSDTC transactions over the network. This is turned on by the following:
Component Services à Computers à My Computer à Right Click Properties à MSDTC Tab à Security Button à Check Mark Yes - Network DTC Access.
On clustered servers, make sure the MSDTC service is online and on the server you are on, and set it there. It will follow the resource as it fails back and forth.

Once we did this, the "MQ" problem went away.
