I wonder if some thing has changed bewtween version 3.2 and 3.5 of out-of-box web client, with respect to the way Process instance lists are displayed. In 3.2 by default, the lists are sorted on the date time. If new process instance is created it would always show at the end. Apprently something has changed in 3.5 and the lists does not appear the way these are shown.

Has anybody observed this? if I have to sort by some criteria, is creating filter the only way or I can set my default criteria in a properties file?
Just curious.

Hi,

if you do not specify sort criteria in you list the sequence of the list items is up to the database implementation. Maybe a change of your DB version can end up in a different sequence.

To avoid this you need to specify SORT criteria in you list - not FILTER criteria. Before you ask: the sort happens at the server side.
