I'd like to get clarification on something. I read the Extended Transaction MQ Client manual. It said the ETC allows a client application, within the same unit of work:
- To update the resources of a resource manager other than a WebSphere MQ queue manager
So can you write a c application with the client to issue the MQBEGIN and MQCOMIT on it's own, acting as a Transactional Manager? Or does this allow a Transaction Manager to make calls through the ETC to manage the global unit of work?
