Hi

I don't understande difference between definition of sender-receiver channel and server-receiver channel. From documentation(Intercommunication) I've read :

Server-receiver channel:
This is similiar to sender-receiver but applies only to fully quallified servers, that is server channel that have the connection name of the partner specified in channel definition.

So server-receiver applies only to fully quallified name, but why if I define channel it is not neccessary to specify CONNAME in server channel definition, but i must in sender channel definition ?

How does connection work (sender - receiver) without fully quallified name (conname()) if either sender and receiver doesn't specify it ?

Thanks

Peter

A SNDR/RCVR is just like a SRVR/RCVR.

In both cases, the SNDR or the SRVR must have the conname property filled in, since they initiate communications, they must know where to go.

If a SRVR is paired up with a RQSTR, then it is possible for the SRVR to have a blank conname, because the RQSTR channel will let it know where to go to.

A SNDR must always have a conname, whether it is paired up with a RCVR or a RQSTR.

Thanks, cool, as I see, both of them are similiar.

But what is practical use of SNDR/RCVR instead of SRVR/RCVR or SRVR/RCVR instead of SNDR/RCVR ?
