Hi,

We have a msg set which is having TDS and XML layers. I want to add the default values to the elements. When there is no value are tag for corresponding element I want to pass the default value in the TDS format and vice versa. I tried by adding min length and default value. When XML doesn't have the corresponding tags the null value is coming in TDS.

This is a known limitation. Default values are only applied when writing , and then only if the output format is fixed-length. I presume that your output TDS is not fixed-length.
