How can i set a expiry time for my process instances and workitems using JAVA Workflow API's.............????

I only found start time and end time queries....but no setting of time....

set expiration time by JAVA API is not possible.
it would be a very useful feature.

As is indicated above, there is no API call to set Expiration times.... The Expiration time must be specified in the Model either as a "static" time, or using a container member.

ALSO, only an Program or Process Activity can expire, you can not Expire a Process Instance.
