Hi Friends,

I have one doubt regarding XML messageset parsing....can anyone helps me ....

I have created the messageset with DTD that contains 2 tag elements.
<XML>
<TAG1>1</TAG1>
<TAG2>2</TAG2>
</XML>

and if send input message , I only send one tag
<XML>
<TAG1>1</TAG1>
</XML>
Now what gona happen? Is I am going to get parsing error or it will let go through with any errors

please help

It depends on what you set in the model, as to whether the model will allow for optional items or not.

So that means if I select the <TAG2> as required and if I send input message without <TAG2> ....It will give me parsing errors ?

You won't get parsing errors as long as it is valid XML.

You will get validation errors.
