Hi Friends,
I am working on Windows NT machine with MQ V5.3 CSD5.0
To my surprise, I can see one of the Sender Channel of the queue manager in Running status just after the restart of the machine.
(My basic knowledge tells that it should be in inactive state. shouldn’t be it ?)
I have refreshed the channel in the Explorer
I am not putting any message on the any Queue.
CHAD is disabled
I do not see any message count in the corresponding receiver (from the pair)
How can this phenomenon be justified.....???
Any clue..
The channel was in RETRYING state at the time of the reboot. When the qmgr restarted the channel went back into RETRYING and started.
The only statuses to persist over a qmgr restart are RETRYING and STOPPED.
At the time of the reboot there were msgs in the xmitq. When the qmgr started the channel was automatically triggered.
