Hi,
Am required to connect diverse applications such as those listed above along with some transformations. MQSI has been identified by the Architect for the same.
My doubts -
1) Why not use ICS? Is the reason Legacy cant be helped by ICS?
2) What do you need to do to get SAP and SIEBEL systems to communicate with MQSI? Do you have any specific installation to aid the same (CSD/Adapters)? |

ICS has similar capability to MB, both would communicate with SAP & SIEBEL with a WBI adaptor. There are a myriad of differences between the 2 products, but both are valid solutions. |

you also need to look at pricing for each of these and see your future direction. If you are just going to do the Transformation then use MQSI/WBIMB. ICS is more needed when you try to execute functions in different systems. For example, if an event occurs in SAP then you want to do something in Peoplesoft, or something of that nature. _________________ Kiran
