Did you rebind the DB after you installed the FP?

Hello,

I am trying to configure my new WF 3.5 installation and when I check it with fmczchk utility it always gives me the following error:
Code:
FMC34503E: sqlfxdb: SQL30082N  Attempt to establish connection failed with security reason "17" ("UNSUPPORTED FUNCTION").

I have WF 3.5 with the remote DB2 8.1.6 both running on Win2000 servers.

I remember problems with fmczchk checking remote database configuration, but the post above says that it should work now in WF 3.5.

I checked RedBooks, this forum, google, fmczchk.htm, WF and DB2 documentation and didn't get any answer. Adding of uid/pwd to the db2cli.ini section where I have my run-time DB parameters listed didn't help either. Runtime datase is cataloged correctly and connection tests work just fine.

I am kinda confused now: should fmczchk work with remote databases in WF 3.5 and if yes - how can I make it work correctly?

Are you able to configure WF Server succesfully. If you are getting this error only when you do a fmczchk, may be you can ignore it, as long as your WF Server is running and you can connect to it.

We are getting some problems importing the models. That's why I started checking the configuration.

What are the errors that you are getting? Can you be more specific?
Also, what is the version of the DB2 client?
