Hi Friends,
I am new to WBIMB installation on solaris env. As per manuals we are required to run "setupsolaris " at root but i don't see that file in my directory . I can only see "setupsol" and even when I try to execute it just return me new prompt without doing anything.
Can you Please suggest , Is setupsol is same as setupsolaris ....or I have some wrong CD .......any help will be highly appriciated.

You have a bad CD.
Get a new CD.

I don't really understand if this is a question or not.
There appears to have been a bad master CD produced by IBM in the early media release of WBIMB. The CD has been created in such a way that long file names were truncated to 8.3 style names, instead of being kept as properly long file names. This also caused the case to be changed.
While I don't know for sure that the AIX portion of the CD was bad, or not, it would still likely cause a problem. The main issue is that the installer is Java based, and so classpaths are completely wrong. So if the linux or solaris folder on the same CD shows that file names have been shortened, then I wouldn't even try using the same CD on AIX.
IBM support should be very willing to send you a new disk.
