Systems/CurrentControlSet/Services/Application folder,I don't a folder for the Message Broker.What can I do to rectify the problem.
Thanks |

What components of WBIMB 5.0 are installed on your machine? If you have only toolkit installed, then there will not be any event viewer messages displayed unless there is any "critical error". _________________ Kiran

Do you have Broker/ConfigManager/NameServer created on this server?
Also, the registry entries for this product can be seen here..
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->IBM->WebSphereMQIntegrator. _________________ Kiran

I do have a Broker and ConfigMgr running on this Win 2000 machine.
I can see my broker under mqsilist,services for the broker and configmgr are started.The task mgr shows me the bipbroker,bipconfigmgr.2 bipservice.I also see the Integration broker in the registry in the path you have mentioned.
Thanks |

On Windows platform Informational/Error messages are logged into Windows Event Viewer (Application Log). Please make sure that you have selected the corrected option. Are you able to see messaes from other applications into application Log? _________________ Kiran

What did you mean by corrected option.I'm looking at the application log and yes,there are messages from other applications including DB2 and Websphere MQ. |

Typo error! I wanted to you to look into correct option (Application Error, System Error, etc).
It's strange that only WBIMB errors are not showing up. AFAIK there is no configurational parameter on Windows to redirect messages from WBIMB into Event Viewer. You should see atleast Infomrational messages into Event Viewer when you start/stop Broker, Config Manager, NameServer.
I think you should ask your Windows Admin look at this problem. _________________ Kiran

I am not sure. Also, I wouldn't play around with any settings in the registry for this. _________________ Kiran

Hi,
Make sure that you have the <WBI-MB>\messages directory and that contains the DLL files and proprerties files. Also, check your registry if it has HKLM-> System -> CurrentControlSet -> Services -> Eventlog -> Application -> BIPv500 entry.
If not, this might be an install issue.
