What are your DB2 errors? Without DB2 running, the broker & config mgr won't run - so that's a good place to start. |

What do you see in your Event Viewer when DB2 tried to start up? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Been there, done that. Had to re-install DB2 and re-build the databases.
The DB2 Configuration keeps track of the machine name. Changing it screws things up. you "might" get away with editing the db2nodes.cfg file. But the name might be stored in other files (and/or Registry) as well.

I am just wondering if he would have a problem with Broker/Config mgr uuid. I thought the machine name/ip address is also a part of UUID?? _________________ Kiran

Change the m/c name in db2nodes.cfg files located in <db2Root>/SQLLIB and <db2Root>/SQLLIB/DB2CTLSV
Then start db2. |
