We have on HP machine MQ Series 5.3 / Integrator 2.1 / Workflow 3.4 / db2 7.2 and multiple environments running at the same time.
The problem is: we can't run more then 2 environments actually due to shared memory limit of 1.75 G for _all_ 32-bits application on the HP server.
HP implemented a workaround called Memory Windows - setmemwindow command which makes possible to run processes in separate memory windows. Of course applications sharing the data must run in the _same_ memory window.
This workaround for 32-bits apps on 64-bits machine seems to be working for db2 universal database - at least special command db2win is implemented.
But I can't find any successfull story of running other IBM products like MQ Series, Integrator, Workflow using HP Memory Windows.
Does anybody know / have heard anything about it?
Thanks.
