I have had a request to create multiple channels (2 pairs of listener / senders attached to the same box but with different ports) in one QM. My problem is that when I create a recieiver channel with MQ Explorer I'm not prompted (or can't see where) to specify the port I'm listening on. I am guessing it is listening on the port that I specified in the QM.

Is this set up possible or do I need to specify seperate QM's each with there own channels?

You specify it in the sender channel definition, e.g.:

CONNAME('198.210.60.37(1414)')

How about the receiver? Can I get this to listen on a different port?

You will have to have two listeners (runmqlsr) processes running on the receiving Server.

runmqlsr -t TCP -m RemoteMQMGR -p PortNumber
