Hi all,
I'm new to WorkFlow.
This is what I want to do.
I have a task that sends a message (UPES) to an external application. This application executes a flow with different states. My question is, could I somehow monitor these states in workflow.
I'm thinking of sending messages back from this application to Workflow, one per state. The reply messages will move the process to the following workflow state.
Is this possible?.
TIA
Cheers

Felipe:
If I understand correctly, this is certainly doable.
Let's say you had a process that had 3 external events you wanted to track. You define a workflow process with Activities A, B, and C. Your external systems would need to send completion messages to some program, which would complete the activities as the messages came in. This would be a "non-traditional" use of workflow, but I believe it would do what you are looking to do. _________________ John McDonald
