Hi Everybody,
I have JAVA api connecting to MQserver on a Remote Machine. For testing the cleint application had put some messges in the local queue. WHen i am trying to clear the Queue from the Websphere MQ Cosole Root , i am getting the Following error :

Object is Open. An Attempt was made to delete or change an object that was in use. Wait until the object is not in use and retry(AMQ4070)

I stopped the channel and tried to delete the messges they were deleted.... Can any body explain me why this happened.....

use runmqsc to do a:

dis qstatus(xxx) type(handle)

xxx = your qname

that will give you info on which application has the queue open.
