Hi,

we have a legacy(esql/c) application which extensively uses SAPI over MQ and we have been using libmqm.sl as a link.

But now one of the SAPI service modules has to interface with a webapp using xml over MQ.Inorder for my legacy to talk with this webapp, the server(webapp) requires the client(legacy app) to have client MQ setup.
This means we have to use libmqic.sl with the SAPI module.

The question are there any issues related to using libmqic.sl as a link with SAPI services or is it fine if i go ahead and use libmqm.sl.

From the information gathered from MQ manuals, there are some restrictions in using a client installation type(MQIC) as compared to server installation type.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

TIA.
