Hi,

we get a special situation on a cluster sun machine:
- pack mqm 5.2 is installed in the sun8 os machine
- but the /opt/mqm we have inherited has mqs 5.3 info coming for
prior installation on other node

question is:
- can we run pkgrm to uninstall mqs 5.2 in sunos without pb?
- will all the mqs 5.3 files in /opt/mqm be deleted normally?

It should, if not you can force remove it using some options in pkgrm.

After the above step, you can delete everything under /opt/mqm and then install MQ 5.3
