hi,

does anyone know the ESQL for extracting the day of the year. i.e 11 Sep
is the 319th day of the year and i need that 319.

does anyone have the ESQL for this?

Try using Interval Datatype. I don't remember the exact systax but it'd be something like this,

Code:

DECLARE DAYS INT;
SET DAYS = (CURRENT_DATE) DAY;

If this does not work then subtract 1/1/<current_year> from current_date before casting it to Interval datatype.
