Hi,
I don't remember the name of the support pack, but essentially it is just what you said: A message-set containing all UN EDIFACT message definitions (there's about 50 of them). And that's all you get. You still have to do everything else that comes with EDI handling, like keeping lists of trading partners, handling different protocols and mailboxes, not to mention the actual mapping, which can get very complicated.
We've been using the support-pack for several years, both for 2.1 and 5.0, and have mostly positve experiences with it.
