I exported a flow containing an xsl transformation node from 2.1 and imported it into the 5.0 toolkit with no problems. I am now trying to deploy this flow to a test 2.1 broker (one which we just created in order to test compatibility between 5.0 config mgr and 2.1 broker). We installed the ia0g support pac to the 2.1 broker and am getting the following error when trying t deploy:
BIP2241E: LIL not found for message flow node type 'ComIbmXslMqsiNode' in message flow 'CWS_FNOL'.
The message broker received an instruction to create a message flow node of type 'ComIbmXslMqsiNode', in message flow 'CWS_FNOL'. The broker does not have the capability to create nodes of this type because an implementation library for this node type was not found in the LIL path.
Ensure that the LIL path is correct and contains all the necessary node implementation libraries, including those supplied by IBM. Then ensure that the message flow and any nested message flows have been saved. Redeploy the new configuration to the broker ensuring that the complete configuration option is used. If the problem persists contact your IBM support center.
I verified that the lil was there. Is there anything that I am missing? The broker is running csd05 on AIX 5.1. _________________ IBM Certified Specialist: MQSeries

Do you see any errors in the syslog when you start the broker? _________________ Kiran

I think what you found is the one major risk of using the version 5 toolkit on the version 2.1 broker. There are features and functions avaliable to you in the toolkit that will not work with the older broker. I bet you have a call to the XSL transfermation node in your flow and I don't believe it is supported in the 2.1 broker.

The xsl transformation node is available in 2.1 as a support pac (ia0g). It is my understanding that all IBM did was incorporate that into the base 5.0 product (with an upgrade to the xsl engine being used). Perhaps this is something I need to take directly to IBM. _________________ IBM Certified Specialist: MQSeries

I have opened up a PMR with IBM. I will let everyone know what the resolution is. _________________ IBM Certified Specialist: MQSeries
