Hi there,
I have set up a channel with ssl running from a aix 5.2 and win xp, wmq 5.3 csd07. On aix i had other channels connecting to aix with ssl, the channels can start successfuly. I created a self signed certificate with ikeyman and assigned it to the win qmanager. I also added the certficate to the kdb file on the aix machine. When i start the chl i get an error : AMQ9630 An expired SSL certificate was loaded.
The expiry date range on the certificate is from 27/10/2004 to 29/10/2005.
When i create a new kdb file and add the self signed cert in it the channel runs fine. But the other channel won't start. Even when i add the relevant certificates in the new kdb, i.e. root, inter, and personal.
I have requested a ca signed certificate and used it. The same error occurs.
SSLCAUTH on the receiver side is set to optional.
hHas anyone come across a problem like this.
Thanks

Here is what I understand from your post. The channel on the AIX is the sender channel and channel on Windows is the receiver channel. If this is the case, then you need a certificate on the Windows queue manager. Here the SDR channel(AIX) will ask for the certificate of the RCVR channel(Windows) and validates it. Prior to that check if the channel starts without the certificates.
Hope this helps. |
