Hi Everyone,
Anyone have any idea of what I need to do to be able to import a schema into WMQI 2.1?
Thanks!

First off I would locate the manual, which outlines exactly how to do this. On 2.1 you need to do it on the broker.
Good luck! _________________ Patrick Goodhart

cant remember exactly BUT the final day of teh course deals with schemas and creating own nodes etc and it says the location to import the schema to within the WMQI directory structure
if you have the materials handy check them
if not am sure someone here will know
once in the directory the broker and control centre have to be rebooted to include the schema within the system
once in you must state the schema in the input node domain |

There is a support pac Io01 which is a command line utility to import XML schemas. The Importer must be installed on a Windows NT or Windows 2000 system with the Configuration
Manager installed. Both the system on which the Importer is installed and any system running the brokers to which the message sets are to be deployed must be running WebSphere MQ Integrator
V2.1 ( CSD2 or later ). |

If you are at CSD3/4 then you dont need this supportPAc. They added mqsiimpxmlschema command to WMQI with one of these CSD. _________________ Kiran

Hi,
At CSD07, would I still get the following warnings, or are they now supported:
1)
*****Warning - Substitution Group found - not currently supported
2)
BIP9373W: 'Pattern' facet found and ignored
The MRM does not support this type of facet. The current entry has been ignored. No user action is required.
I'm just wondering if upgrading will help fix all my problems or if this particular schema just can't be imported.
Thanks!
