I tried searching through the forums for "Java 1.5", "Java 5" and "JDK 1.5" but I wasn't able to locate anything pertaining to my issue.
I've got a Java tool that I developed that uses com.ibm.mq.jar to interact with a series of different MQ servers, channels, managers, and queues. The tool worked great under JDK 1.4. Once JDK 1.5 (stable) came out, one of my users decided to grab it. Now the tool runs extremely slow while communicating to the MQ systems. I grabbed JDK 1.5 myself and have confirmed this issue. No other portions of the program seem to be affected performance-wise, only the parts that do the actual communication (the parts that rely on com.ibm.mq.jar).
Can anyone else confirm a compatibility issue between JDK 1.5 (Java 5.0) and the com.ibm.mq.jar classes? Or if anyone has any suggestions on a) what to try in order to address the issue or b) where to obtain a newer copy of com.ibm.mq.jar (I noticed IBM has removed it from their web site) I would appreciate it.
