ask from IBM a security exit as std sample |

Do you think IBM should deliver a security exit forbidding a blank userID on the SVRCONN channel as part of the standard package |

Is there any way we could get IBM to deliver as part of the standard package / std samples a security exit that would allow the SVRCONN channel to work as it does today but refuse connection if the userID supplied by the client is blank ?
So it would just be a matter of plugging it in. Those who need less security just would not have to use the exit and still work like today...
Any feed back /ideas...

Didn't they do this when they built in SSL? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

This leaves a room for my BlockIP2 exit
http://mrmq.dk/BlockIP2.htm
There are/were security exit samples included in various versions of WebSphere MQ. Or is supplied as supportpacks.
Better solution could be to include this as an selectable option on the queue manager...
