Hi Y'All

I have used MQSI in the past and the company I am contracting with is set to choose between WBI and DataStage TX.

I'd welcome any links to bulletin boards which deal in some depth with DataStage TX, just as we do here with MQSeries.

Many thanks in advance

SMH

Here's one I found:

http://www.tek-tips.com/threadminder.cfm?pid=842

Tek-tips have an MQ forum as well, but it always seem to be a bit "dead" to me...

Hello,

I have used both MQSI and TX and TX is a far superior product, although I only used MQSI up to version 2.

The Ascential website www.ascential.com has a fair bit of information about TX although mainly sales. The non official one is www.eaiusergroup.com

Lucky you.

We had a pre-sales rep in recently from Ascential. He tore through my "difficult" set of tasks like the proverbial knife through butter.

As I don't wished to be sued, I can only say that the other vendor involved came a poor third (out of 2).

Hello,
We use TX (formerly Mercator) during 4+ years in a couple with MQ. The main impression is pretty well, altough some times we have to contact ascential to resolve problems. The last version looks very good (assuming multi threading and other new features) and ascential also promised to issue TX under Linux.
