Do I always need to have WebSphere MQ, DB2 and WBIMB on the same machine? Or can I install MQ on one machine and install WBIMB on other machine, and then create default configuration?

You *have* to have MQ on the same machine as a broker or a configuration manager.
DB2 can be elsewhere, but will affect performance if it is.
You don't have to have MQ or DB2 on the same machine as the Tooling, I think.
