AFAIK this is not possible - setmqaut is a "command-level" command, for open systems MQSeries, and not a PCF (Programmable Command Format) type of command. This is different for every platform, for example, in Unix you would use a remote shell.
However, saying that, according to the Programmable Systems Management Guide, there is a set of utilities that use the Installable Authorisation Services. I have never used it or heard of anybody who has, but it seems comprehensive - you can use it to both get and set MQ authorities by group, it seems.
Failing that, you can always write a MQ program that gets a command line in a message, executes it and sends the results back via. the reply message. This is not very secure though!
Hope this helps! |

Q Pasa! for MQSeries (http://www.mqsoftware.com) allows you to set MQ authorizations remotely.
If you have any questions, ask or email me (I don't check this board that often) at kfh@mqsoftware.com
