Suppose each user has some 100 workitems created for him.

The requiement is that user should initially be able to see some 20 workitems. But he/she should also have an option to see all the workitems created for him/her. I know we can do this with "Owner=Currentuser" but would like to know the performance impacts of it and any other solution for this.

Use THRESHOLD
Create a work list with threshold of 20 and he will see only 0 workitems
Create another work list with no threshold and he will be able to see all his work items.

I have a similar req. Can we show something like 20 items at a time instead of all. The reason is if the user has say huge no of items is it not a performance bottle neck.
