is it possible to run the code of V5.0 in wmqi 2.1.

I mean we use the mqsimigratemsgflows command to migrate the code of wmqi V2.1 from .xml to .msgflow and .esql

so, is there way to do the vice-versa too....like .msgflow to .xml of wmqi 2.1.

well!....its not my requirement but, just curious to know, whether is it possible.

appriciate for any thoughts.

I don't think there is any direct way of doing this.

When you add a flow to a BAR and the operation completes, hit the details button. The details will tell you that the ESQL level is either 2.1 or 5.0, obviously if you use any 5.0 features it will not deploy to 5.0 (schema's, extended syntax, namespaces, new nodes etc).

You could then try importing and then running the flow on 2.1.

You will need to import the message flow. The Bar is not supported by 2.1

You can't take .msgflow, .esql, .mfmap, .mxsd, .mset, .category files and use them in V2.1. There is no mechanism in V5 to generate V2.1 compatible source, and there is no way in V2.1 to import V5 source.

The compatibility is at the compiled object level - the .cmf file and the .dictionary. But even then there is no way to deploy these to V2.1 other than via a V5 config manager.
