Here is the error I'm getting:

The user exit 'Valid(MsgExit)' returned a response code '-2' that is not
valid in the ExitResponse field of the channel exit parameters (MQCXP).

There seems to be some descrepancy between "Application Programming Reference" and "Intercommunication" manuals as to the existence of "-2 Skip Function for ExitResponse.

Basically what I wish to do is stop the message going further down the line but not put it in on a dead letter queue or have any other side effect.
