Hi folks.

I have asked IBM the following question but while I am waiting for their reply I figured I would ask it here too.

I have looked at the specs for Workflow 3.5 and it mentions WAS 4.0, 5.0 and 5.1. The specs for Workflow 3.6 mention that it works with WAS 5.0, 5.1 and 6.0. but we need to know if 3.5 will work with WAS 6.0.

The situation here is that we have an application that is preventing us migrating to DB2 8.1 (a pre-req for Workflow 3.6), so we potentially can't get to Workflow 3.6. (unless you know that 3.6 works OK with DB2 7.1?)

As we can't get to Workflow 3.6, then theoretically we can't get to WAS 6.0 and we need to get to WAS 6.0 in order to go to z/OS 1.8.

So I guess we have two questions.

1) Will Workflow 3.6 work with DB2 7.1 on z/OS?

or

2) Will Workflow 3.5 work with WAS 6.0 on z/OS?

With workflow 3.5 and service pack 3 and above WAS6 is supported

I have limited experience of workflow/was on z/OS so I can't answer that part but I am positive that the above statement holds for z/OS also.
