We achieve high availability using a SAN for MQ. I need to update our CSD level. How do I go about it? Do I need to install it, fail it over, then install it on the other node or just install it one time?
Thanks. |

It depends on if the 'executable' programs are installed on the SAN. If they are not then you need to do both sides.

Yeah, we have two seperate installs and only the qmgr directory structure is on the san. I'll have to install it on both sides. |

Yes
Install it on the one that is not currently running. Failover and leave the system with the new CSD for a while, maybe a week and install on the other one if you don't have any problems. |
