Hi WBI5.0 gurus,
I need some advice on WBIMB5.0 migration. We are still working MQSI2.1 and tring to migrate to WBIMB5.0. We have 4 environments Team ,Unit ,model and Production. Here's the issues.
1) Since we can not migrate everyone at sametime, we need MQSI2.1 active all the time.
2) As per IBM documentation, we can migrate existing environment to WBIMB5.0 but that will make Unit, model and production out of sync.
We have lot of custom nodes and code changes for wbimb50 that can take few weeks to get migrated.
So I need help on whats an best solution/path you guru's have followed
If you guys have odered new machine and migrated on that ? or how ...
Please share your experience
Thanks for help

Before we started the migration process on our develpment machine, we installed WBI and imported the code to another machine. That way, we spent as little time possible working on migration problems in our real dev, SIT/QAP environments. |

Thanks for response, So if you have migrated in development then your model, production and other environment are out of sync.
And if there any development you can not migrate to model environment coz they are still working on MQSI 2.1
Please help |

Please help yourself, and read through at least some of the other postings about migration from 2.1 to 5.0.
You might actually learn some things that you didn't think you needed to know - BEFORE you ran into problems because of them. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
