Hi ALL,
I am using pub/sub and am facing issues realted to orphaned subscription . I have the deregistration script to remove all active/non-active subscription but not a way to remove only non-active subscribers. Do we have any way to deal with this. Due to this orphaned subscription the broker becomes very slow and messages are getting redirected to dead letter queue due to subscriber queue getting filled up. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

There is a cleanup script documented in the Using Java manual that is supposed to remove orphaned subscribers.

So, are these subscribers non-durable? I'm assuming that they are. What broker are you using and what version of WMQ are you using? There was a fix put into a CSD (after 4 I think) that handled orphaned subscriber cleanup.
