MQ 5.3

We are trying to start a Windows service using MQ triggering using a batch file containing the command

net start "CWConnector Solve_JTextConnector"

However this doesn't start the service. I know the command works as I can run it from the command line.

I also know the triggering is setup correctly as I can run a batch file with a simple copy command

Any ideas?

Does the userid that the trigger monitor is running as have the necessary permissions to start and stop services?

Hi,

I had similar problems with triggering on Windows 2000 Server. I found that the MUSR_MQADMIN UserID had access to nothing (only to the mqm group). It did not even have access to printers!!!
