Under MQ 5.2, there was a APAR to fix the problem of orphan client connection. This is used to clear those still connecting the MQ manager client channels but the application had already finished or terminated abnormally.

However, I am encountered the same problem in MQ v5.3. After a huge connection to the MQ, the application is ended but the connection is still alive. The Q manager cannot removed those orphan client connections.

I know that the client connection should be handled carefully in the appication. However, under some situtations that the orphan client connections are left in the Q manager. How should the MQ be protected from this problem.
