Hi,
Before i go any further in my investigations, can somebody confirm that it is feasible to connect from a Solaris Box with a java application using MA88 classes, to a Queue Manager (2.1) located on a 390 environment...
I haven't been able yet to connect succesfully to this environment and it has been reported to me that on the Queue Manager logs, they see errors CSQX502E and CSQX599E.
Also, if anybody can tell me what is needed on the queue Manager to allow client connection...
For instance, is optional 390 Client attachment feature (CAF) mandatory ? Apparently, the channel type MUST be SVRCONN...
Any advise would be appreciated,
Thanks in advance,
Michael |

CAF is mandatory for any client to make any kind of connection to the Mainframe queue manager.
So, in your situation, yes it is not optional.
Otherwise, you should be okay. Assuming you get the security figured out. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
