We have several workflow implementations (discrete process models) that will deployed this year. I'm looking for best practices in terms of architecting in a production environment. I've read the IBM manuals on the matter, but appreciate insight from actual implementations. My concerns:
- work item volume
- querying worklists (using the virtual ID approach)
- data structure footprint (for displaying business data related to work item)
- for that matter, performance gotcha's.
If we use a single workflow server, do we create a separate System Group per workflow implementation (in this case, creating a separate runtime db instance)?
