Hi,
I am currently moving my application from MQ Series 5.2.1 to MQ series 5.3. Can anyone help me a idea of what is the change that has gone between these two versions and if we have any best practice for MQ 5.3 can you pls pass that on too

There are a number of differences between 5.2 and 5.3:

    SSL support introduces new security options.

    JMS support is integrated into WebSphere MQ

    Support for Windows XP and Linux on the mainframe

    Application Programming Interface exits

    IBM claim improved performance


In reality, the big differences are SSL and that MQ 5.3 is supported.
