Hi,
I am looking for MQ API for Visual Basic 5.0, 6.0. Can someone direct me to the right place? I also need to change some VB 6 code to be compatible with VB.net...any resources or issues?
Thank you

Take a look at GC34-6328-02 "Using .NET". It is a pretty good book. There is also a red bookSG24-7012-00 "Websphere MQ solutions in a Microsoft .NET Envoronment"
Good luck....... .NET is pretty neat but a whole new ball game to a dinosaur like myself. |

For VB you have 2 options:
1. VB API calls, using the CMQ*.BAS headers shipped with WMQ
(Note we ship vb6 samples ...\Tools\VB\sampVB6)
2. Using the COM MQAX200 layer
(again we ship VB samples ...\Tools\mqax\Samples\vb)
VB.NET is completely different as per the above, and you need fixpack 5 or 6, ensure you have followed the instructions in the memo.ptf file. (We ship a manual csqzav01.pdf and samples ...\Tools\dotnet\samples\vb) |

Jason:
We are using COM MQAX200 layer. Thanks for your instructions, I'll follow you up if I have any trouble.
Thanks |
